About Kevin (Kayvon)

Jeff Bezos who?

I used to have the most stupid bio written here. I was looking for a job at the time and it didn’t reflect me at all lol. So I hope this gives you a better picture if you happen to make it through.

Crazy how we can compromise our authenticity temporarily just to get a job huh?

My writing style’s kinda all over the place — probably the ADHD. When I was 18, a psychiatrist prescribed me 70MG of Vyvanse. Seventy. He needs to lose his license.

Ready?

All I can say and always will say is God is good.

I’ve had the honor of being taken through many different types of industries in my life. It all began when I randomly decided to sell stuff from my closet on the side of the street when I was 6 years old. My mom wasn’t too happy.

No refunds

Then when I was 13, my mom decided to cut off my allowance… it pissed me off. I felt like I was robbed of my agency. I couldn’t like… buy stuff anymore?!

So I started my own e-commerce biz when I was 13. It was a PlayStation Portable modding business. I learned how to make websites, how to deal with people, how shipping works, and how to close deals. I think I made a couple hundred $$ per month doing it for a bit—but what I didn’t realize is that this is what God was doing to lay the foundation of His future work in me. He was setting me up for His plan way before I was cognizant of it.

God gives you your gifts before you ever cultivate them. That goes for everyone.

So anyways, I dropped out of college 1 week in at 18. I didn’t listen to my parents and they were BIG mad. Persian parent type of mad. You don’t do that. I know it’s “cool” to be that entrepreneur that ditched college, but I probably should’ve gone to school to be honest. I would’ve learned more discipline that took me way too long to develop on my own volition.

I guess for me it was better to be rebellious and learn in a non-linear way than to be a doormat in the name of tradition. Have some balls and don’t conflate cowardice for honor. Your parents will come around once you succeed. Even if they never come around, life goes on. Live yours. Just do it.

Since then, I’ve been in retail sales, inside sales, real estate brokering, and everything in between. COVID came around early 2020, and a few years prior I found myself building real estate websites on the side for fellow agents. I was still selling real estate myself during this time, but the issue was no one was allowed to show homes during the pandemic. I had to do something, I was going broke.

I leaned fully into starting Vanity Geeks, a full service, boutique agency helping luxury real estate agents all over the US & Canada with their websites, brand identity, strategies, SEO, and everything in between. I am currently launching another project called RealSEO.ai. It’s a SaaS AI content writer for real estate SEO, check it out!

Funny how it all comes full circle, right? I am basically doing everything I was doing 20 years ago. Obviously at a bigger scale, but still. I just came to this realization recently and was like, ok! Crazy.

Let’s collab

When I’m not designing or coding, I’m usually writing on Medium, producing music, reading, hiking, traveling, with family, or roasting my friends to oblivion.

I also believe in giving back. I volunteer with The Teen Project, which supports survivors of human trafficking.

I’m simply passionate about building things that I believe in and impacting others. Whether it’s through design, business, or helping others—I want everything I do to leave a mark.

And if you want to leave a mark too, let’s chat. I would love to collab with you.
